At the core, I think the vast majority of people are looking for the same thing ... male and female. The issue is that not many are willing to give to another what they are looking for in the other. Whether this is from fear based upon previous relationships, or is a personal issue, it amounts to the same thing ... gives the same outcome.

Competing for energy, expectations, lack of honesty, etc, etc, are all killers of a genuine relationship, whether simply as friends or in an intimate relationship. From all appearances, it's part of the indoctrination process that is maintained through the societal structure that is in place ... the images people buy into in representing themselves as either male or female.

To be perfectly blunt, the whole thing fucks me right off and I've almost lost total interest in being involved in an intimate relationship.
