A report from Russian television (always refreshing to get an outside perspective eh) that really shows just how fucked up the EU is.

I often have a look at RT.....they often cover more important 'events' than the Brit news does. Their documentaries are often fascinating.
My only complaint...they have started with advertising breaks too now!! Aaaargh!

Btw, what they're saying is true. It's not so great here. A great deal of us would move to another country in a heart beat if it wasn't so difficult. However, I don't think we'd be going to East Europe!

I hear Sibiu in Romania is very beautiful but the quality of life overall is still the lowest in Romania
Budapest in Hungary and Ljubljana, Slovenia are highly spoken of, too.

St Petersburg is also siad to be stunning.

I'd like to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there. There's a reason why people are itching to get out of those countries, they have a poor standard of living.

Theres several angles to it but basically the whole immigrant thing is just a diversion.
Eg are immigrants taking jobs or the dole?

The whole things a laugh but its amazing to see how easily people get swallowed by it, its usually people who find it hard to think ahead more than a couple of steps and theres plenty of em.
It involves being able to visualize and ofc you can thank the fluoride for that.

This whole campaign is quite funny, but it's true. In all honesty I've never really understood why so many people seem to want to come to the UK. Apparently, Germany and Spain are more popular with the Poles and who can blame them? The UK is still a favoured destination though, but why? It is a bit shit here, so why not tell the Romanians that we have a housing crisis and that the NHS and education system are crumbling? Let them make an informed choice.

The benefits system is NOT something that immigrants consider when they move here as they still have to get some NI credits in and some work to begin with. The nordic states have much better benefits than the UK.
The reason why its all such a big issue is because we're used to a certain lifestyle, that lifestyle being a job for life, a career, a family, managing to make ends meet and plan ahead. All thats gone to hell in a handbasket and we're not used to competing for work are we?

The poles have had it shit for yonks, they're used to being ruthless, you just have to shape up basically.

Sucks doesn't it? Then again, thats why I'm for the venus project. it gets rid of all this crap.

Glad to be the exception to the rule.

If we retain the current economic model then we're looking at one of two solutions.

1) Wait til the UK is a total mess like Greece and then no more immigrants
OR
2) Wait til Poland is much better economically and then they'll stay. Ofc its basically all of eastern europe lol.

Option 1 is the more likely scenario tbh

I've definitely noticed an influx of people from East Europe in my neck of the woods and that's only in the last three years. As I said before, I don't understand the attraction. A majority of the Poles and Czechs I've met think the UK is a shit-hole, the weather is depressing and that most people here are aresholes anyway. There are hardly any jobs round here, so I'm not sure quite sure what your average Pole is expecting to find?

Btw Andy, if I was looking to relocate, I would choose somewhere in Scandinavia or Germany. I can totally see why German is more popular than the UK for people relocating from elsewhere in the EU.
