what happened to the 2nd guy they pulled out of the woods
Bats, I'm not sure if there's something fishy about that 2nd shooter aspect of things tbh.
I just tried to research it, and the most I could find was that (similar to the James Holmes case where 2 shooters became 1) there were police radio reports at the beginning, saying they (the cops) were closing in on 2 armed suspects wearing camouflage pants.
One of them escaped into the woods. Other reports don't say Adam was wearing camo pants btw. Just as some assertions have been made that Adam shot himself, but at the outset, the police supposedly announced that it was unclear whether he'd taken his own life.
They brought a suspect out of the woods in cuffs, and he apparently walked amongst the crowd of parents, saying that it wasn't him who'd been shooting.
He was detained, sitting with the police outside the school, and since then, all reports have just focused on there only ever having been a lone gunman.
There was also a report (didn't see it myself, as it was posted on another forum, and my naff flash whatsit wouldn't let me open it) saying that the weapon that Adam was supposed to have inflicted more than one bullet wound into each victim with, was recovered by police from his car. Well how's that possible? A medical examiner supposedly confirmed all wounds were inflicted with a rifle (like the one in the car) but only hand guns were reported to have been found in the school, on his person.
The children were made to shut their eyes while leaving the building. But 2 of them have been quoted since as saying they heard conversations suggesting another person was arrested at the scene. If they're right, then there was a 2nd person who they're keeping quiet about, or it was Adam, in which case, I highly doubt the current official line of his having shot himself.
There are snippets about his girlfriend and another friend having gone missing in New Jersey - something that there's now silence about apparently.
And this picture being painted of Adam having been a loner, yet one of the same people who've been instrumental in portraying him as this, slipped up by describing how he & his mates used to congregate in a particular spot at school in their spare time. So he was a loner with mates, and later, a girlfriend.
I don't understand why early reports claimed Adam's mother was a teacher at the school and was one of those killed there, yet later that altered to her being unconnected with the school, and having been killed at home.
Also, I'm not sure how plausible it is that the lad would have been wearing a ski mask, and bullet-proof vest if he'd been planning to shoot himself.
There are other strange things too - like parents being told that they couldn't see the bodies of their children until Sunday. I'd have thought they'd have had to see them to give official identifications, quite apart from a natural desire of a parent to not believe it without seeing with their own eyes. You wouldn't send me away on a Friday, telling me I couldn't see my child until Sunday. Then, apparently, after that, they removed the bodies (still without being sighted by parents) on the Saturday.
So, there's a big question mark in my mind as to what exactly went on, and how much 3rd party involvement there may have been in the whole thing - and/or just how much oddly inaccurate reporting of events have confused things.
