I said it was set up by family though i-baster - as I said, if you look at the FB page (I'll try to post it later - don't have time first thing in a morning & also my laptop is malevolent and will only co-operate randomly) the appeal fund was in place even before they knew where the child was. They posted this detail (i.e. not knowing properly what was happening) some time after they'd posted the call for money - each post is time-stamped if you place a cursor over it..

So, again, while it's not conclusive 'evidence' of anything at all, when added to the mix, I'm asking, whose immediate thought at the loss of a baby from their family is, "Best get on to FB quick-smart & get some cash rolling in"?

It's not a question of it not taking long to set up. It was a personal friend or family member who did it (read the FB page a couple of days ago & can't remember their names) . The point is, the minute there was word of something going on, before there were even clear facts about what it was, an appeal for money was put in place.

Like the top of the list of priorities if a child is slain is to ask for money.

Well yes it is fast but like I said it was not the family but friends of theirs. Now if you would imagine a close friend of yours goes through a tragedy. You watch t.v. and see a school shooting and wish to help. Why would you not set up a page to help. It is not just about money. Also consider that the family probably knew before media.

I've read more than 3 news reports out of Utah that the Facebook page was set up at a Credit Union in Utah, where the Parkers lived less than a year ago, and that it was set up by family.

I have looked at the page. So far they have raised over $300,000 and there goal is to reach $2 million.

Parker strides up to his camera spot and works himself into a state of grief. He and his family took cheery looking photos with the President. Some people send him money and feel sorry for him and say what a tragedy it is, others go out and buy an A15 assault weapon. And anyone who wants to talk about this man's demeanor has not got there priorities straight.

I put myself in his place and imagine moving cross country and in less than a year my baby is killed at school. I would have all kinds of questions running through my head including "what if I didn't move here?". One question that I wouldn't have is "do I look upset enough for the camera?" Grief, heartache, confusion, anger - that is what I would expect to see in a normal person. Not a smiley swagger up to the camera then breathing in and out quick and switching emotional gears into something less casual.


He said that he was already overwhelmed by the Facebook response in that interview but, I guess he was looking for a little more good feelings, maybe not trusting his family and friends back in Utah to raise enough money to cover costs. Nope, he mentions the page twice on national TV. And if you look at him right before he brings it up and right after, he is clearly smiling (but trying not to). That's not reading into anything, it's a basic observation. Cha-ching.

Another bit of info has come to light.

Approaching the school initially, the police didn't know who the shooter was. They then, allegedly, took him to be the brother, Ryan Lanza. But, unless the police scanner recording has been tampered with (which I have no technical knowledge of to fathom how feasible that is or isn't) it seems someone in the thick of things at that stage knew exactly who was in the school.

At the 5;08 minute mark, it picks up a voice quietly saying, "End the life of Adam".
