The Experience of Micklemus
The People's Voice thread: "Where to we go now at over £103,163GBP"
This gets posted last month:
[Read Post 22 on that thread. I have a screen shot of it but can't seem to paste it into this post. All very sensible and mildly comedic stuff pointing out that it's difficult to see how TPV will generate much advertising revenue]
Ex Sheep replies sarcastically, proud as he or she is that Micklemus is an idiot and must eat his words -
Think you need to start eating some of that mud.
Micklemus leaves it for a month and in light of the lack of developments on the advertising front - and of course the latest begging bowl routine with Joe Public - posts:
I think you need to take a look at yourself. Another month passes, nothing (or nothing of material significance) has happened on the advertising front, but instead another Indiegogo campaign is underway.
For how many more months are we expected to close our minds to the screamingly obvious?
The post is rapidly deleted by Shattingcat (or whoever it is) who quickly imposes a 10 point "spamming" infraction and PMs -
Dear micklemus,
You have received an infraction at David Icke's Official Forums.
Reason: Repeated Abuse Of Forum
Am really not sure what your point is here.
You either know something no one else does or you are posting purely to disrupt?
If you have nothing construtive to post it would be better not to post at all.
This infraction is worth 10 point(s) and may result in restricted access until it expires. Serious infractions will never expire.
Micklemus replies (angrily):
What, I'm being disruptive for pointing out the bloody obvious?! Are you mad?! All I said was that TPV is not (as I predicted) generating sufficient advertising revenue. That's disruptive?
Good grief, what has become of you people? You've totally lost the plot.
Ban me, deactivate me, whatever. Just get on with it. You've given me points for making an obvious and logical deduction, which is on the topic of the thread too, and you've edited the thread as well.
You obviously want me to pull a drawstring in my chest and keep repeating "everything's wonderful at TPV, I shall not engage a brain cell". I can't do that. I posted something on topic which wasn't rude to anyone. Contra "Sheep' who was rude to me, but of course that's OK because "Sheep" is one of the herd. I also posted something which is completely correct (advertising revenue is inadequate - as I said it would be previously) but you've deleted me and given me points. I can only deduce from your actions that:
1. you have reason to believe my post was incorrect, but that of course would mean that TPV is pulling in loads of advertising revenue and doesn't need fundraising campaigns anymore. If that is so, there is something SERIOUSLY wrong at TPV (bear in mind that another Indiegogo campaign is underway) and it's being covered up.
2. you just want to morally edit anything on this forum which doesn't reflect your views on conspiracy world and anyone within it.
Which is it? Either way, it's extremely unhealthy and I want no part of it.
Response from Shattycat: another 10 points added and -
I have no reason to ban you, but if you want to have your account inactivated, please confirm
Micklemus doesn't reply, but no matter because:
You have been banned for the following reason:
No reason was specified.
Date the ban will be lifted: Never
Moral of this story: if you wish to remain on DIF, tow the party line and never, repeat NEVER, suggest that things might not all be sunshine and flowers in TPV world.
