Its just a term we use for a big smile involving the teeth showing and the eyes crinkling around the edges.

I'll use chamomile as an example. Chamomile is accepted as a good remedy for insomnia (amongst other things obviously). Now, if you have a bedtime bath with about 3-5 drops of chamomile in it, you will sleep like a baby, providing of course this is a suitable oil for this ailment FOR YOU. Now to have the same effect from a bedtime cup of chamomile tea you would need to drink the equivalent of 36 cups of tea! Why? because what a lot of people don't realise is that herbal teas take ages to build up in your system. And herbal teas are in no way the same as herbalism.

BTW...Don't ever put more than 2-3 drops of Lavender oil in your bedtime bath as it will act as a stimulant. Hence the reason why many people think Lavender doesn't work as a remedy for insomnia because they put too much in their bath. Use the usual average of 5 drops in your morning bath...sets you up for the day. It's totally the reverse if you like Patchouli oil....2-3 drops in your morning bath and 5'ish in your bedtime bath...for those who don't like Lavender or chamomile.
